Ron Thal (also known as Bumblefoot)is an amazing player. His mind blowing technique along with his brilliant sense of composition make him one of the most respected guitar players of this generation. Countless players have been influenced by his musicianship, and today it is time to study a piece in his own style.

In order to approach Ron's way of using the guitar to create music, we'll need to be well warmed up as his technique often uses some wide and uncommon intervals. We'll use a lot of three notes per string scale positions along with some tapping techniques to create some wide interval stretches.

The track we'll play over is a simple blues in C. We'll use mostly some pentatonic licks combined with some chromatic notes. As for any lessons on GMC, take each examples as starting points to develop some more personal licks. Strive for precision and controlled speed.

Practice well!
