Hi GMC! Here is another Study by Fernando Sor (1778-1839). This study was made famous by Spanish master, Andres Segovia, who included this in his g20 Studies by Sorh.
It is an arpeggio study. While its left hand is pretty simple, the chord progression at the end is interesting, and it provides an excellent right hand work out.
The melody on the first and the second string is played by "a" and "m". It is accompanied by lower notes, using "p" and "i". The melody is to be played with a great stroke, so that it stands out from the accompaniment.
p = thumb
i = index finger
m = middle finger
a = ring finger
