Hi, GMC!
This is the theme from Mauro Giuliani's "Variations on a theme of Handel".
The original theme comes from one of Handel's Keyboard Suites published in 1720. It is also known as "Harmonious Blacksmith".
The tune was so popular that Giuliani arranged it for the guitar and published it with a set of his own variations.
There are six variations to follow this theme. Each of them are very effective and characteristic. I will show you the rest of variation on GMC lessons.
The theme is simple, but fun to play. Let's get started.
