Hello GMC people,
in this lesson I'll try to explain some rhythms and chords on acoustic guitar. First of all, I hope this lesson will be useful also for beginners.
I made a Guitar Pro file. Here you can find the chords with fingerings. The focus in this lesson is to learn how the same chord shape work over the neck. For example, in the first measure, we use a power chord shape. If we extend it with the other strings (open) we can obtain three different chords:
E5 (7th position), Bsus4 (2nd position) and C#m7 (4th position).
I suggest you listen to "The Silent Man" and "Solitary Shell" of Dream Theater.
In these songs John Petrucci use this type of chords.
