Hi all :) With this lesson we will be looking at usages of the always cool Dropped-D tuning, working on downstroke stability, alternate- and downstroke-picking switching and practicing a bit more speedy rhythm-playing.
The lesson itself consists of a fairly fast-paced piece with alot of variation, some progressive elements, and a bit trickier run at the end.
I have tried to construct the lesson from a full-song perspective using the various parts (minus a solo and lenghty verses) you might encounter in a metal-song of this type (Progressive/melodeath), and it's mostly centered around the D Aeolian scale.
_______________
Tempo: 172 BPM
Tuning: Dropped D
Scale: D Aeolian
Time Sig: 4/4
As usual, i have included 4 backingtracks and a Guitar-Pro file.
Enjoy :) And dont hesistate to send me a message if you have any questions.
